I want you to find eco products that you will love, gifts that you can give that will have a purpose and be cherished for years to come.
What is a sustainable shop?
Thats a confusing question! Sustainable as a business or selling sustainable goods? I have filled my shop with ideas and products that not only help you live sustainably (ie rechargable lights or hot water bottles instead of hiking up the heating), but also everything I make and design from is from waste materials. The aim is to be circular as possible with my designs.
Are you a fashion or homewear designer, stylist or an artist?
I want to give ideas to give you a more holistic way of living in a greener way that shouldnt cost the earth. I think I’m a bit of all of the above but I’m actually an upcycler and have grown up repurposing waste materials so they can be used again (but not many people know what that is!),
My strengths are in putting colours and textures together and I have LOADS of ideas. I don’t want to encourage you to buy lots of stuff. I just want to put you in the right direction in making a careful, considered decision. Buying conciously.
Is buying sustainably cheap or expensive?
I believe that it’s all those things. I’m delighted to say that we have more choices to buy and live in a more sustainable way ie refillable deodorant shampoo, grains, cosmetics, milk bottles (for example). I have given you options in my shop to purchase handmade products out of luxurious, colourful and sequinned fabrics, which are affordable to you and also some other unique products that are one off and therefore may have a more premium price reflecting its’ rarity.
